5 Sustainable Living Blogs That Make Sustainable Living Easier

Sustainable living blogs

I’m always on the look for ways to make sustainable living easier. Some days it feels like I have to choose between the planet or convenience. Fortunately, I have found 5 sustainable living blogs that prove I can still live a modern lifestyle without harming the planet. In the following blogs, you will find simple, meaningful ways you can live a more sustainable life.

Milk Glass Home

Rachael of Milk Glass Home is all about slow living. She says, “We need to take a step away from this highly processed, prepackaged life and refocus on what matters.” She writes about cooking from scratch, green cleaning, and simple living. In addition, Rachel recently launched a podcast, Simple Sustainable Home. Episode 5 discusses sustainable beauty and features a blogger you already know. 😉

Everyday Environmentalists

Adopting a sustainable lifestyle can feel overwhelming. Amanda of Everyday Environmentalists wants you to know, “It is okay to be imperfectly sustainable.” For instance, go sustainable one swap at a time with Amanda’s Weekly Simple Swaps. If you need additional support, join the Coalition, a community of everyday environmentalists. Or book Amanda for a one-on-one coaching session.

It’s My Sustainable Life

It’s My Sustainable Life is a homesteading lifestyle blog. To Suzan, a homesteading lifestyle is “mindful, authentic, and thoughtful.” She provides tips on everything homestead, including organic gardening, holistic healing, and fiber arts. I enjoy Suzan’s Craft It, Make It posts as a crafter. But the beauty DIYers will enjoy her Homemade Lotions, Oils, & More.

Reduce, Reuse, Renew

Struggling to get started with a sustainable lifestyle? Laura can help. She describes Reduce, Reuse, Renew as “a lifestyle blog that aims to meet you where you’re at in terms of a minimalist and low waste lifestyle.” Take her sustainability personality quiz and learn how to make sustainability fit into your lifestyle. Laura also has a podcast with tons of information on Raising Eco Minimalists for the parents out there.

Our Gabled House

Growing up in Germany, Anja learned about the homesteading lifestyle from her grandparents. She now lives in California and writes about modern homesteading at Our Gabled House. She invites you to “Follow along as [she shares] old-fashioned skills, urban homesteading practices, and sustainable living tips.” If you have trouble following written recipes, Anja also has a YouTube channel where she demonstrates the homestead lifestyle.
