Every Thing You Need to Know About JUNO & Co: Innovative and Affordable Skincare

The following post is sponsored by JUNO & Co. All opinions are my own.

If you spend any time on TikTok, chances are you have seen JUNO & Co in action. Influencers rave about how well their microfiber makeup sponge applies makeup and how the cleansing balm melts it away.

About JUNO & Co

Mira Torres founded JUNO & Co in response to beauty ideals that favored unrealistic perfection over healthy and naturally beautiful skin. JUNO & Co believes in a more minimalist approach to skincare that emphasizes fewer yet potent ingredients, like the ten ingredients in the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm.

JUNO & Co and Sustainability

JUNO & Co is working to become a more sustainable skincare brand. The San Francisco-based company embraces upcycled ingredients with their Clarifying Cleansing Powder, which uses rice lees that would usually have been thrown away.

4 JUNO & Co Products to Try

JUNO & Co recently reached out and kindly sent me four of their products.

Clean 10 Cleansing Balm

The Clean 10 Cleansing Balm is a sensory experience. It starts when you open the jar and the scent of lemons floats out. At first glance, the balm appears solid, but it turns fluffy-looking as you scoop an amount out. Now apply the silky cleanser to your face and indulge in a face massage. Finally, use a wet washcloth (or a JUNO & Co Cleansing Cookie) to remove the balm and wash your day away.

But you’re wondering if it works. Just ask the most stubborn of my mascaras, HEROINE MAKE Long and Curl. I’ve lost a few eyelashes trying to remove this waterproof mascara. However, the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm melted it away.

Clarifying Cleansing Powder

Most days, I don’t wear much makeup. When I wear a lot of makeup, I like to double cleanse. The Clarifying Cleansing Powder is the perfect follow-up to the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm on double cleanse days.

This cleansing powder adopts two of the fastest growing trends in sustainable beauty: waterless beauty and upcycled ingredients. I previously wrote about waterless beauty, but that’s TLDR. In short, reserving the water from beauty products results in products that need less packaging.

Clarifying Cleansing Powder’s star ingredient is the extract from rice lees left over from the production of Japanese sake. Rice lees extract is high in antioxidants, protecting skin from free radicals.

Kale No More Pore Clay Mask

The Kale No More Pore Clay Mask won’t make your pores disappear; you need them after all. But it does make them look smaller. Clay pulls the sebum and dead skin cells from your pores. Kale and seaweed extract plump the skin, making the pores look smaller.

Cleansing Cookie

The Cleansing Cookie is JUNO & Co’s reusable cotton round. You would be forgiven if you imagined it to be the size of a traditional round or a typical cookie. Think bigger. It’s more like one of those big cookies you get at a fancy bakery or cafe.

And it is soft. So soft. The cleansing cookie is much softer than any washcloth or towel I’ve ever used. And much better at removing makeup than disposable makeup wipes.
